This new format supports files larger than 4 GB and allows saving 3D orientation in raster files. It is possible to open an ITIFF64 3D attachment in a 2D DGN. However, if the geo-reference of a 3D ITIFF64 is modified while it is attached in a 2D file, it will lose its 3D orientation.

This format will not open in previous versions of OpenBuildings Station Designer.
